The Joy Holiday Collection - Ambar Edition #15

Evoking an awakening of the soul and senses, this season’s Joy Holiday Collection, Ambar, tethers us to nature and represents earth’s energy keeping one grounded, calm, and cleansed. Glowing with flecks of gold, dark honey, and smoked shades of whiskey, the ancient, rich, and warm colors of amber are delicately infused with neon yellow dual layers delivering the illusion of movement among the butterfly wings. Intrinsically inspired by light and life, these lovingly crafted handmade ornaments hold an abundance of positive energy, inviting you to arouse your spirit and create a space where dreams manifest into reality.

The Joy Holiday Collection - Ambar Edition is an annual series of one hundred handmade butterfly sculpture Christmas ornaments. Each piece is created from multiple layers of plexiglass, hand-painted, and bent to achieve the illusion of movement. For this limited edition, I have chosen to incorporate lime green neon-colored plexiglass and copper leaf.

Copper embodies the nurturing aspect of women and is associated with love; it symbolizes characteristics such as charisma, feminine beauty, artistic creativity, affection, caring, and balance. It is also considered to have healing properties and is used in Ayurveda and naturopathic medicine. This series was created with collective healing and transformation in mind.

Ambar Joy is 3.5” x 3.5” Each piece is numbered, signed, and placed into a handmade wooden box with a label that reads, “Handle with Love.”
